Best Perks (& God Roll) for Fugue-55 Sniper Rifle

Publish date: 2024-07-10

One of the newest Sniper Rifles that players can get in Destiny 2 is the Fugue-55, an Adaptive Frame Void weapon that utilizes Special Ammo. The Fugue-55 falls into a weird category of Sniper Rifles that allow it to be effective for both PvP and PvE thanks to its Legendary perks, but it requires very specific and different rolls for both types of activities. These factors affect which perks are best for it in a given situation, which means there are actually multiple “God Rolls” for this particular weapon.

The biggest drawback to the Fugue-55 is that it can’t have both the Moving Target and Snapshot Sights perks at the same time, because they’re in the same perk column. This is similar to the 1000 Yard Stare Sniper Rifle in Destiny 2, which was released alongside the 30th Anniversary event content. However, what separates the Fugue-55 from many other weapons in the game is its Suros Synergy perk, which reduces incoming flinch and gives a bonus to handling after reloading. Suros Synergy is a fixed perk for the weapon, and there are a few perk combinations that build off of these benefits as well.

Players can get the Fugue-55 from any Legendary engram in Destiny 2, be it during The Witch Queen campaign, a faction rank-up, and anything in between. As a weapon that is part of the world loot pool, it can be challenging to get the perfect Fugue-55, let alone one for each type of activity. Unfortunately, the Fugue-55 cannot be created through Destiny 2’s new weapon crafting system, otherwise, it would be fairly quick to get whatever rolls players desired.

Destiny 2: Best PvE & PvP God Rolls For the Fugue-55

For PvP, the Fugue-55 God Roll is all about speed for both readiness and aiming down sights, as is the case for all Sniper Rifles in this part of Destiny 2. Players should be looking for a Fugue-55 that has Arrowhead Brake, Accurized Rounds, No Distractions, and Snapshot Sights, as well as a Handling Masterwork. The first two perks significantly improve Recoil Control and Handling, as well as Range, respectively. No Distractions reduces flinch for a short period after aiming down sights, and Snapshot Sights increases the ADS speed. Both of these perks synergize perfectly with Suros Synergy and its traits as well.

As players continue through The Witch Queen story in Destiny 2, the best PvE Fugue-55 God Roll needs to be built for efficiency and continuous use. Perks that promote high damage and an increased reload speed are best, so players should search for a roll with Arrowhead Brake, Tactical Mag, Fourth Time’s The Charm, and Vorpal Weapon, as well as a Reload Masterwork. The Tactical Mag slightly increases the Fugue-55 magazine size, stability, and reload speed. Vorpal Weapon increases damage dealt against bosses, vehicles, and Lucient Hive with their Super active, while Fourth Time’s The Charm returns two rounds when players rapidly land precision hits in Destiny 2.
