Shocked mum left blushing after finding 'sex toy-shaped carrot' in wonky veg

A SHOCKED mum was left blushing after finding a carrot shaped like a sex toy in her bag of wonky veg.

Dawn Morisco-Tarr, 50, hoped to make a beef stew from the Tesco vegetables - but burst into hysterics when she spotted the whopper.

Dawn and husband, Raymond, 55, couldn't stop laughing when they noticed the bright orange sex toy-shaped carrot.

The mum-of-two from Buckingham was stunned at how realistic it looked - but wasn't too embarrassed to put it in her stew.

Dawn said: "I reacted the way anyone would when I found it, I thought it was absolutely hilarious.

"I showed it to my husband and he was laughing. It made our day.

"I was making a stew so I bought a pack of veg that had carrots, onions and a parsnip because it's easier.

"I'm sure there are lots of them out there with all the wonky veg that's being sold."

The skincare business owner added the carrot to her homemade meal and sent a picture to her children, Laithan, 30, and Caelan, 25.

Dawn said: "I sent a photo to my sons and my eldest son said he didn't think it was appropriate to comment.

"The best way to put it would be to say they were mortified I think because mum doesn't usually talk like that.

"I posted it on Facebook and people were saying that rabbits do like carrots.

"I bet the person packing it had a right laugh too."
